Thaana Script
This is a small guide to the language Dhivehi. It is designed for the passengers who are travelling to and from Maldive Islands. If you are planning a trip to Maldives or are just curious, go ahead and enjoy!
 
The standard Thaana script or character set consists of 24 consonants and 11 vowels. These are shown below with there names and their closest sound in English. Thaana is read from right to left.
