Emirates Airlines has presented an award to Maldives Airports Company Limited.

The ceremony to present the award was held on 8th March 2005 at the Conference Room of the Administrative Office of Maldives Airports Company Limited.

The Award was given under its programme “Zero Aircraft Ground Damage”, in recognition of the fact that during the years 2002, 2003 and 2004 no aircraft of Emirates Airlines had suffered any damages while at Male' International Airport.

On behalf of Emirates Airlines, Station Manager Ms. Aishath Sherin presented the Award to Maldives Airports Company Limited. The Managing Director Mr. Ahmed Ali Maniku accepted the Award on behalf of Maldives Airports Company Limited

According to Maldives Airports Company Limited, among the awards it has received from various airlines in recognition of its excellent service, the award it received from the Emirates Airlines on the 8th of this month is the second such award it had received this year.

Maldives Airports Company Limited revealed that it received other such awards in the past as well from Emirates Airline and some other airlines in recognition of various other excellent services provided by Male’ International Airport.
